🏈 Trojans Fall on the Road at Bremen

BREMEN — Triton suffered a 66-0 road loss to Bremen on Friday night at Bunge Field. The Lions scored three touchdowns during the opening quarter and carried a 21-0 advantage into the second. Bremen added 28 points in the second quarter to build a 49-0 halftime lead before scoring 14 points in the third and closing the scoring with a fourth-quarter field goal. Triton finished with 104 yards of total offense and six first downs. The Trojans rushed 35 times for 106 yards but lost two yards on a sack. Cayden Bradley led Triton’s rushing attack with 36 yards on five carries, averaging 7.2 yards per attempt. His 17-yard run was the Trojans’ longest offensive play of the night. Ryder Gayheart carried 17 times for 35 yards, while Lukas Nicely gained 13 yards on his lone attempt. Chris Fenton added 11 yards on seven carries. Bradley also contributed on special teams, returning six kickoffs for 150 yards. He averaged 25 yards per return and recorded a game-long return of 60 yards. Nicely punted five times for 204 yards, averaging 40.8 yards per punt. Two of his punts landed inside Bremen’s 20-yard line, and his longest traveled 58 yards. Nicely also led the Triton defense with four total tackles.
